A fourth-generation Dallasite with more than 20 years of experience in residential real estate, Betsy Cameron exemplifies leadership, innovation, and dedication in her role as President of the Ebby Halliday Companies. Having joined the company in 2019 as Sales Leader of the iconic Ebby’s Little White House office, Betsy quickly distinguished herself as a dynamic and visionary leader. During her tenure, she has successfully led multiple offices and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Betsy Cameron has been immersed in the real estate profession from an early age. Her mother, Janis Wells, is a highly successful full-time agent who inspired Betsy’s interest in the field. Before obtaining her real estate license, Betsy often accompanied her mother to open houses and assisted with various office tasks. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, Betsy embarked on a career in public education, specializing in Special Education. However, her passion for real estate remained strong, leading her to earn her salesperson license in 2005. Since then, Betsy has built a diverse and accomplished career in the industry, serving as a salesperson, sales leader, manager, and executive.
As President, Betsy collaborates closely with the company’s experienced leadership team to shape strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and guide the organization’s growth while preserving the Ebby Halliday Companies’ legacy of delivering exceptional client experiences. She is renowned for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to build meaningful professional relationships with agents, clients, and colleagues.
Betsy is deeply committed to her community, actively serving as a children’s advocate for Dallas CASA. She and her husband, Brad, are the proud parents of two sons.
Reflecting on her role as President of the Ebby Halliday Companies, Betsy says, “It’s my honor to lead an extraordinary team of talented agents, sales leaders, and employees. The opportunity to drive this storied company to its next level of success is both humbling and exciting.”
