Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is responsible for various community outreach projects throughout the year.

Projects we have worked on recently include:

Back-to-School Roundup
Members of the Outreach Committee organized Rotarians to donate money and volunteer their time on project day. The Fort Worth ISD gives out backpacks, shoes & socks, hair cuts, etc. to underprivileged kids and they need help on the day of. (See Pictures Below)

Backpacks for Kids
Members of the Outreach Committee requested donations from Rotarians of money and food to donate to the Tarrant Area Food Bank that provides backpacks of food for children identified by the Fort Worth ISD who might otherwise go hungry over the weekend or spring breaks, etc.

Other Outreach Projects
Include canned food drives for the Tarrant Area Food Bank and participation in the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home in east Fort Worth for a single-mother and her two children and book drives for local shelters.
