Alcon...your word is Pharmaceutical.  
Definition: Clothing worn by agricultural workers.   Rural clothing stores sell a lot of pharmaceuticals.

AT&T...your word is Broadband.
Definition: An all-girl musical group.   The Dixie Chicks are a controversial broadband.

Burlington Northern...your word is Locomotive.  
Definition: A crazy reason for doing something.   Weight loss seems to be a locomotive for having your leg amputated.

Chesapeake...your word is Fraccing.  
Definition: The use of fluid to crack the rock in a natural gas reservoir.   Not to be confused with “flacking”, the use of public relations and advertising to make fraccing more acceptable.

Chesapeake...your word is Seismology.  
Definition: The science of fitting people with the proper garments.   With his knowledge of seismology, the salesclerk knew the customer was a 42-long.

Compass Bank...your word is Usury.  
Definition: Most of the time.   Usury we have breakfast about 7:00.

EECU...your word is Collateral.  
Definition: From the root word “lateral”, meaning “sideways”, collateral is a guarantee against a borrower getting “upside down”.

Fort Worth Cats...your word is Beleaguer.  
Definition: Not yet a major leaguer.   Most beleaguers are just starting their careers.

Half Price Books...your word is Literature.  
Definition: The awful practice of throwing down trash while on a journey.   You should carry a trash bag while traveling, so you won’t have to literature.  

Harris Hospital...your word is Bronchitis.  
Definition: An infection usually spread by horses.   Rodeo cowboys often develop bronchitis.

JPS...your word is Euthanasia.  
Definition: Children in China, Japan, India, and surrounding countries.   I do most of my charitable giving to euthanasia.

Lockheed Martin...your word is Politicking.  
Definition: From the Greek word “poly”, meaning “many”, and the word “tick”, meaning “bloodsucker”.   Politicking is the art of working with many bloodsuckers.

Rotary Club...your word is Classification.  
Definition: The process of acquiring culture and refinement.   If you need classification, go to a charm school.

Star Telegram...your word is Plagiarism.  
Definition: Participating in a game in which the players steal each others pieces and pretend they are their own.   When you plagiarism, everything’s fair.

TCU...your word is Baccalaureate.  
Definition: Taken from Bacchus, Roman god of wine, and laureate, which means honored, baccalaureate means to honor alcohol.   Tailgate parties at TCU will no longer be baccalaureate events for students.

Tusa Office Solutions...your word is Entrepreneur.  
Definition: The founder or owner of an enterprise.   The French are so anti-business, they don’t even have a word for “entrepreneur.”

UNT Health Science Center...your word is Biomedicine.  
Definition: Folk remedies used by Cajuns in South Louisiana.   “If you need some “bayou”-medicine, go see dat Dr. Boudreaux.”

United Way...your word is Philanthropy.  
Definition: Sue Anthropy’s husband.    If you think Sue is generous, you ought to meet philanthropy.

Witherspoon...your word is Flacking.   
Definition: We’ve already covered this.   Flacking is the use of public relations and advertising, etc., etc.  “When flacking for a controversial client, one should perhaps wear a flak jacket.”
